Poured-in-Place is a 2-layer system consisting of a base mat of 100% post-consumer recycled SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) and polyurethane and a top surface consisting of recycled post-industrial EPDM rubber and polyurethane. PIP provides excellent shock absorption, helping reduce the risk of injuries from falls and meeting or exceeding ADA and ASTM safety standards. Its smooth, even surface eliminates tripping hazards often found with loose-fill materials like wood chips or mulch, creating a reliable environment for children of all abilities to play confidently.
